The property is located at Dam 2 in Amsterdam opposite the Bijenkorf. The ABN AMRO Bank used to be located at this location.
For more than 15 years, the landlord and the municipality have been discussing adding more quality to the city center and the arrival of Dior responds to this aim of attracting more quality shops to the center. Due to the digitization of the private banking system, it was no longer necessary for ABN-AMRO to have a bank shop on Dam Square, which created this unique opportunity to enhance the quality that the city center needs with a tenant like DIOR. The arrival will be a start in which several brands from the higher segment want to establish themselves in the city center of Amsterdam in the coming years.
