Swatch opened its new shop at P.C. Hooftstraat 42 in Amsterdam to the public on Saturday 29 July 2023.
The split-level retail space has an area of 100 m² and features two unique 3D designs, specially designed for the shop by Enzo Pérès-Labourdette, which bring the charm of Amsterdam’s canal houses to life in a special way.
Swatch is owned by the Swatch Group, a Swiss company founded in 1983 and the largest watchmakers in the world. The Swatch Group owns many (watch) brands such as Balmain, Blancpain, Harry Winston, Breguet, Longines, Tissot and Omega, among others. The shop on P.C. Hooftstraat is Swatch’s second shop in the centre of Amsterdam, and Swatch also has shops in Rotterdam and Utrecht.
B&O Retail represented Swatch in this transaction. Parties have agreed upon lease terms according to market conditions.
