Louis Vuitton opens retail space P.C. Hooftstraat 140 in Amsterdam

Monday, 2 March 2020, Louis Vuitton has opened their new store at P.C. Hooftstraat 140 in Amsterdam.
Louis Vuitton is part of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy which is the largest conglomerate of luxury products in the world. The group employs over 156,000 people and has 4950 stores worldwide.
The façade, which is designed by UNStudio, is 13 meters wide and has a height of 5 meters on the ground floor. This unique façade consists of glass in RVS stones with a closed glass sheet fastened behind them so the whole can be executed tranparantly. The retail space has a total surface of approx.. 560 m², consisting of a ground floor of 240 m², a first floor of 110 m² and a basement of 210 m².
The first retail space, situated at P.C. Hooftstraat 67, will be renovated and is expected to be opened for the public by LVMH in the spring of 2022. B&O Retail represented the landlord in co-operation with Dik Smeding architectural firm.
Parties have agreed upon lease terms according to market conditions.
