Oger has obtained the franchise right in the Netherlands to carry the Loro Piana brand and has leased a double store with a total area of around 380 m² at P.C. Hooftstraat 83-85 in Amsterdam.
The shop is expected to open to the public in early 2024 after a thorough renovation according to the latest design.
Loro Piana is an Italian company founded in 1924 by Franco Pietro Loro Piana, which specialises in clothing and textile products and claims to be the largest cashmere manufacturer in the world.
The company is now largely owned by French multinational holding company and conglomerate LVMH.
There are 136 company-owned shops across Europe, North America, Middle East, China and South Korea.
B&O Retail was in prolonged negotiations with Loro Piana before it was chosen to open the shop with Oger, eventually representing the landlords in this one, a private investor as well as the Van Herk Group.
